The Netflix of college essays.

A suite of videos and resources to help get your students inspired to write awesome college essays.

I've got hundreds of students. How do I help each one of them...
  • Choose a great topic?

  • Determine what structure best suits their story?

  • Write an essay that is authentic, yet also helps them stand out among thousands of applicants?

HOW DO I INSPIRE MY STUDENTS TO START EARLY and not just two weeks before the deadline?

After 15 years of helping students with their essays, I’ve found that most students struggle with the same 10-15 questions.

And if you’re like me, you wish you could either clone yourself or just have those 10-15 questions answered so you could just point them to a single place.

But who has time to do that?

I did.

I've created a series of step-by-step video course for students that walks them through how to write an amazing personal statement and how to tackle their Common Application and supplemental essays.

This year, I’m partnering with a number of high schools and college counselors to hopefully make things easier on you and your students this college application season.

Here’s what one counselor said after sharing access to my courses with his students:

"So many students came back from summer close to being done with their essay. I've never had a class that far along so early and I can't wait to see how it opens up their schedules and mine this fall."

-Piotr, Counselor at La Jolla Country Day School

We just signed up! When will the books arrive?

Our publisher will be shipping out books in early September.

I need to get approval from my school/district first but it may take a week or more. Can I pre-register while I wait for approval?

Sure! Email us at and we’ll figure something out.

How do my students get access to the courses?

We try and make it super simple. You can have your students opt-in via a simple registration form that you can share with them via email. Once they register, they’ll get an email with a unique user name and password.

Or if you want to register them all at once, you can send as an excel sheet with your students names and emails and we’ll register them.

Your students privacy is super important to us and we won’t share that info with anyone, nor send them marketing emails.

I’ve got another question that isn’t on here!

Email us at and someone from the team will get back ASAP.
